Yvonne is the owner of a small café in Detroit.

As Yvonne was getting ready to close up one rainy night, a young woman with amnesia came knocking on the door of the café. Yvonne took in the young woman, who came to be known as "Linda", letting her sleep on her couch. Yvonne also got Linda a job at the café.
