The Young Woman was an acquaintance of Wesley Dodds. Their exact relationship to each other is unclear.

Together with Wesley Dodds, she was present at a student demonstration. The demonstration turned violent, and she was injured. The Young Woman died in Wesley's arms.

The same woman?
- The character's name was never established. Her appearance in the footage, that Clark Kent and Chloe Sullivan are watching, marks a rare instance when attention is drawn to another person in the footage, outside of the Justice Society of America members. In early version of the script, Dinah Lance was going to be in the episode, with the Black Canary appearing in the JSA portrait being revealed to be her mother (Dinah Drake-Lance).[1] It is unknown if the Young Woman dying in the arms of Wesley Dodds is or was originally supposed to be Dinah Drake-Lance.
