Pete is a good friend, he supported Clark. There is no reason to hate him. No I don't ship him with anyone. Funny thing is in the comics Pete is a lot more like Whitney. Oh who while not justified, was right about Clark wanting Lana. Plus he redeemed himself by joining the military, because he wanted to do good for the world.
