Although Smallville has been off the air for almost seven years, the show is respoonsible for paving the way for the Arrowverse and other DC shows on the CW network. But recently, at a Smallville panel with Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, one fan asked if Smallville could be revived in live-action or in animated form on the DC streaming sevice. Tom Welling responded to the fan with "I mean, animated could be fun" Rosenbaum agreed, saying "I said to Al Gough, we should do an animated Smallville. That would be huge! I mean, Smallville: The Animated Series, with all the real voices? And I wouldnt have to shave my head! We've got to do that. Can you imagine us on mics doing the same dialogue? But I would love to see a live-action revival more because they could adapt the stories from the Season 11 comics and introduce Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern on the show for the first time. The CW should start reviving shows like Smallville and Beauty and the Beast in order to compete with Fox's the X-Files, NBC's Will and Grace and ABC's Roseanne. Someone has even created a peittion to bring it back in live-action. Please sign it and spread the word to anyone you'd know so they can do the same thing.
