The United States Secret Service (or Secret Service) is a federal law enforcement agency in the United States of America. The Secret Service is charged with protecting political leaders like the President of the United States.

Season Three[]

While talking to his then friend, Jake Pollen, Van McNulty stated that Lana Lang should qualify for Secret Service protection (due to all the guys tailing her).[1]

Season Ten[]

Two agents attempted and failed to keep Lois Lane out of an Air Force One meeting, headed by the Secretary of Defense.[2]

Season Eleven[]

President Martinez was out running in Washington, D.C., with Secret Service members around him, when Lois Lane spotted him.[3]

The United States Secret Service has been present in the DC universe since its inception in New Fun Comics #1 (February, 1935), which contained the first of a series of adventures with Secret Service agent Sandra McLane (one of the earliest DC characters, before superheroes became the dominant comic book genre). Sandra appeared in 39 issues, making her final appearance in More Fun Comics #35 (September, 1938).

Two other notable Secret Service agents are husband-and-wife team of Bart Regan and Sally Norris, who first appeared in Detective Comics #1 (March, 1937). Sally made her final appearance in Detective Comics #26 (April, 1939), and Bart made his in Detective Comics #83 (January, 1944). Bart and Sally were created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
