Umbrakinesis is the ability to control, manipulate or generate darkness.

- Darkseid - Darkseid can generate powerful darkness. His infected Prophets are no different and can use it to malignant effect.
- Gordon Godfrey - He could make his eyes go black and he turned into black smoke when Oliver defeated him.
- Desaad - Desaad killed his victims with darkness, leaving a dark mark on their hand. He held down Clark with darkness long enough for him to corrupt Oliver.
- Granny Goodness - Granny destroyed the bow of orion with darkness.
- Green Arrow - Green Arrow turned the the church's holy water into darkness.
