Tonya Hartz is a former student at Smallville High School, and classmate of Clark Kent.

Tonya attended a party thrown by classmate Cristina Verano, where Karen Gallagher got pregnant.[2]
Tonya was present at the Smallville High graduation, where she got her diploma. However, the ceremony was interupted by the announcement that a meteor shower was going to hit Smallville in three hours.[3]

- A yearbook page in Legion establishes Tonya Hartz as possessing telepathy.[1] It is unknown if she acquired this metahuman ability during the 2005 meteor shower, or earlier. The woman in the photograph of Tonya Hartz in Legion appears to be Simone Bailly, who played Star in the Season Six episode Crimson. However, in that episode, Chloe Sullivan (a classmate of Tonya Hartz) frames Star as a total stranger,[4] indicating that Tonya Hartz and Star are not the same woman.
- The future of Tonya Hartz might have been hinted at by dialogue. In Absolute Justice, Part 2, Doctor Fate (who could see the future) informs Clark that him becoming Superman (and people looking up at him in the sky) will lead to everyone embracing a Silver Age of heroism.[5] In Continuity, Superman tells the world that the world's (benevolent) metahumans will always rise up to protect them.[6] It is possible that this (i.e. the people who becomes superheroes) includes Tonya Hartz.
