______________________________________________________________________________________________LMAO! Why is this page here? Season 10 is offically the final season.

Well, seasons 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 were all "officially" the final season of stargate.--Xion1212 22:16, October 17, 2010 (UTC)xion1212

If you check the CW website, the eleventh and final season of Smallville has been announced.
- http://www.cwtv.com/shows/smallville Hmm, I must be missing it. Can you post a link? --Kanamekun 03:50, January 9, 2011 (UTC)

- I think that person is confused. The video on the CW website is for the return of season 10.

Uh it just ended
- It would be cool though if there was going to be an eleventh season! -- ImperiexSeed, 4:32 PM, October 7th 2011

Uh, is this legit? With the tenth season being the FINAL season, it stands to reason that this is irrelevant. -- ImperiexSeed, 6:07 PM, February 9th 2012

The Smallville wiki is a source for all the info and related media for the series. Season 10 is still the final season, this story is just titled "Smallville Season 11" written by one writer and not the main executive producers of the show (who knows how much input they have?), its listed here just as other Smallville content is, such as all the other Smallville comics on the site. I was stoked to see the title Season 11 only to find out it's just a comic adaptation of the series. Just like with Angel, I am now disappointed. Stormbeast 02:16, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
- I am grateful to have any Season 11 at all. :-) If the comics are canon, then we will have a fresh new season to chronicle here on the wiki! --Kanamekun 14:23, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
- That's exactly what I thought! A new TV season would be better - of course - but I also like the idea of season 11 as a comicbook. JimmyOlsen 15:43, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
Bryan Q. Miller already writes comics, his run on Batgirl is widely regarded as one of the best runs on any series in the last few years, and its also a job he got due to his excellent work on Smallville so I'm happy to have this series because he was always my favorite writer on this show. People have faith. Zodisgod 20:45, February 10, 2012 (UTC)

-Sigh-, well I guess if Admin Kanamekun says it can stay, then I'm fine with it, even though I never even heard of such a comic. :/ -- ImperiexSeed, 7:14 PM, February 10th 2012

Format[]
So, the title of the first "episode" of the Season 11 comics has been revealed to be "Guardian". It's going to have 12 chapters, each released one per week starting April 13, 2012. DC is also going to release a print edition of the first 4 chapters of "Guardian" as Smallville: Season 11 #1 on May 16, 2012. Most likely #2 will feature Chapters 5-8 and #3 will feature Chapters 9-12, released in June and July, respectively.
To list these on the page, what format do we want to go with? Do we want to list them in a table by "episode" arc, kind of like the television episodes are listed? From there, each "episode" can have an individual page that breaks down the 12 digital chapters/3 print issues.
Or do we want to list the individual chapters or individual print issues on the main Season 11 page? Thoughts?

- My preference would be to use the table format like the television episodes. - Playhouse76 01:48, February 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I prefer to keep the tables like the seasons, and keep everything the same style as that. I say list episode 1 as Guardian, but like the tv episodes with the production code wee put chapters 1-4 there instead. Buffyfan123 09:05, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
- We do have an infobox for comic book:
- I don't see why not use it? --BatteryB7 12:12, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
I prefer the seasons and episode style too. It's the eleventh season of Smallville ... even if the season is a comicbook. JimmyOlsen 13:31, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
- Let's wait and see how DC Comics handles it... we're not in any rush. :-) --Kanamekun 20:03, February 13, 2012 (UTC)
I love the show I have every season. I thought season 11 was going to be part of the tv series but sadly its not. I've checked out the comics and I have to say that I'm not impressed. For me the Smallville ended with Season 10 because after all the advertisements on the CW said "THE FINAL SEASON" I seriously hope this isn't being countend as cannon.
Until officially stated as otherwise, Season 11 is considered as canon. I can understand if you are despleased with that answer, however as we are merely fans, it is not our place to deem what is canonical or not to Smallville as that is to the descretion of Warner Bros./DC Comics. 108.247.151.97 05:30, August 26, 2012 (UTC)
