Democracy[]
Is this canon?
- The Council made decisions on Krypton using a democratic method which they believed to be the fairest way to decide on matters. Once Krypton became a planet of intellect and science, the Science Council emerged and took over the planet electing the most respected Scientists to decide on the planets matters instead of an army.

Science Council versus Ruling Council[]
In the episode Kandor, the council was referred to as the Science Council. Does anyone have a source for the Science Council reference? If not, we should rename this article... --Kanamekun 22:47, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Council: Jor-el, You stand before the ruling council charged with treason.
- Major Zod: Kneel!
- Jor-El: The council's demands have been met. The orb is ready. So are these the stones of knowledge. The teachings of the 28 galaxies. Will be available to our people, if ever they are resurrected. All that is left is for you and i to include our dna.
- Oops, I meant to say that in the episode Kandor the council was referred to as the Ruling Council! That's why I moved the article earlier...
- Did they refer to it as the Science Council in Kara and the Chronicles of Krypton? --Kanamekun 22:44, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
- Let's star again, was there any mention of Science Council in the series or in related material? Ruling Council was featured in Kandor and Lara mentioned the Council in Blue but was there anything else? If not, I'll star removing most of the references to Science Council and replace with the Council, if this is okey? - BatteryB7 18:30, June 30, 2011 (UTC)
