Introspective[]

I remember this from the comics... but is there an episode cite for this on the show? Eventually, Kryptonians would achieve a level of social and scientific achievement that caused them to grow introspective at the cost of evolution and emotion. --Kanamekun 04:54, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Red sun vulnerability?[]

Kryptonians are also vulnerable to the light of a red sun. Opposed to yellow sunlight empowering them, red sunlight almost immediately strips them of their powers, similar to blue kryptonite. This happened to Clark when he time-traveled back to Krypton to prevent Brainiac from killing his infant self. Apocalypse

With regards to the above passage, is it accurate to say that they are necessarily vulnerable? Aren't they just their natural selves? This reasoning seems a bit flawed to me. IMO, it would be like saying humans are vulnerable under our yellow sun, which, technically, you can get sunburn and skin cancer, yeah, but it isn't like, say, a vampire, who can't be in it without being instantly affected. Ah that's a good point - there's an inherent assumption that this article is describing Kryptonian's under a yellow sun. Maybe we should clarify that more? --Kanamekun 18:46, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
I've fixed that issue now. (Until next time... Anon e Mouse Jr.) Anon e Mouse Jr. 00:33, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Kryptonian women[]

This text is currently in the "Kryptonian Powers and Abilities" section:

Kryptonian women appear to possess a high degree of emotional intuition bordering on empathy when dealing with humans than Kryptonian men. This was demonstrated during Aethyr's interrogation with Jonathan Kent (Arrival), Lara-El's meeting with Lana (Blue) and Faora Zod's encounter with Tess Mercer (Bloodline). This can also be some kind of ability to detect lies or falsehoods, which would also explain why Kara feels her made up background is fake when she is suffering from amnesia (Traveller). Interestingly Aethyr does not detect Lana is lying when she lures them to the Luthor mansion to trap them with the kryponite from Lex's safe.

I don't think this is exactly a "superpower"... and not all Kryptonian women had this power (e.g. Raya, or Zod's lieutenant in Savior).

I'd like to remove this... any objections? --Kanamekun 06:12, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

In the season 9 episode where clark gets telepathy, Jor-El talks about kryptonian intution implieing that its more avanced the human intution. This could be the the reason for kryptonian female's "empathy". which is probably not limited to females as with the exception of clark, male kryptonians don't get much diolauge.

With the mention of Kryptonian intuition and instinct in Kandor, it's increasingly clear that Intuition is some sort of Kryptonian superpower. I'll start looking into quotes that mention intuition and instinct... if you guys see any, please post them here! --Kanamekun 23:17, November 7, 2009 (UTC)

Major Zod got more time than any other male kryptonian and he doesn't seem to have any empathy for humans.--Jax Vos 18:51, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

Heredity[]

Clark is said to have looked like his father by Lara, but Jor-El looked nothing like him in Kandor, and if so, should't Clark be blonde.-- Nat-Duv, the second to last son of krypton 06:22, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Actually in Relic "Joe" was played by Tom Welling and has black hair. Later episodes prove that "Joe" was in fact Jor-El in his twenties. His older form has blonde hair because kryptonians have different biology than humans as they age. Also Clark could always look like a form of his father at a certain age without looking like his father did at the same age that the son is currently.

I know people like that.--Jax Vos 22:45, April 12, 2011 (UTC)
