- Delete... maybe- OK I just found the discussion about this page and I'm willing to wait to reserve judgement till it's more developed. (But the capitalization of the article name makes my eye twitch.) Marikology 21:21, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Screencaps[]
This might be a bit random, but it'd be pretty cool to see screencaps of all the various accidents - especially if they show the actual damage done to the truck. That would really underscore the general idea of the article... --Kanamekun 00:35, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

More than one truck[]
Are the editors of this page taking into consideration the fact that the Kents own more than one truck? The one Nixon blew up was blue, [1] but it's listed right along with the mishaps of the red one, which doesn't seem very accurate. And Clark got a new Toyota Tundra in Progeny, which he hasn't wrecked yet, but is an obviously different "Kent truck". Marikology 05:29, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
More than one RED truck?[]
The article says, "Usually, when one was involved in an accident, it was damaged seemingly beyond repair. Somehow, though, the truck showed up in following episodes, with no mention ever being made of how the vehicle was fixed."
Has anyone considered the possibility that they WERE damaged beyond repair & the red trucks are often DIFFERENT ones purchased after the accident? Perhaps the Kents just have a preference for red Dodge Rams? Perhaps there's no supernatural "longevity of the vehicle" after all.
I know the Kents never really had emergency funds, but clearly they've spent a LOT of money on their trucks, whether it was in repairs or new/slightly used vehicles. It seems to me that considering how often their trucks are totaled beyond any hope of repair, it'd actually be cheaper to buy a 1-2 yr used truck instead of rebuilding the entire frame of the previous one from scratch!
Any thoughts? (My name is Dan, btw) 70.228.91.167 04:18, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
Dukes of Hazzard Reference[]
I always took the truck repairs as a nod to the General Lee, clearly wrecked in many episodes but always fine next week.76.109.142.127 22:03, April 30, 2011 (UTC)SJA FL
