Renaming article[]

I've been wanting to rename this article forever! But was worried that "Ship" was too vague... maybe "Clark's Ship" would be more specific? --Kanamekun 22:11, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

  • I think "Clark's ship" is specific and a good name.--Stressed dessert 02:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Capitalizing the ship articles[]

Just wondering...between Clark's ship, Red Ship, and Black Ship, are the ships proper nouns which should be capitalized? Flash0816 00:35, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Yah I was wondering that too! I guess they're not really proper nouns, cuz people don't really call them these things all that often... maybe once or so each. Would love to hear what other people have to say! --Kanamekun 01:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Clark's ship should definitely have a lowercase ship. For the other two, I think they're fine both ways. Perhaps Red Ship can be renamed to Kara's ship? --Stressed dessert 04:44, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, it should be lower case. I've been trying to pretend that it will magically lower-case itself and all the links'll change, but it's not working. I agree with changing Red ship to Kara's ship. Marikology 18:15, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Name of this article[]

Oh my... I just saw that this "Kanamekun" character is the one who suggested renaming this article from "The Ship" to "Clark's ship". :-)

Now that I think about it, there are two problems with that name:

  • Clark was named Kal-El at the time that he was in the ship
  • All the other articles referring to Clark (Clark Kent's powers and abilities, Clark Kent's near-death experiences, Clark Kent's secret) use his full name.

I was thinking we could address both of these issues by renaming the page, "Kal-El's ship". Any thoughts or objections? --Kanamekun 18:04, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
