Merge or NOT[]
- Merge - Yes - The other clones (Lara, Alia, Zor-El, Fiona, etc) do not have seperate pages so why does Jor-El? Clarkloisforever 17:10, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Merge - No -Zod's clone is a seperate page because they are 2 seperate characters. The original character has a significant page and it would make more sense an more understandble to make 2 seperate pages. The same goes for Jor-El. Characters like Zor-El, Lara, Fiona, Ref, Alia and Coats hae either only been present in one episode or 2 in Zor-El's case or haven't been featured on the show before and wouldn't make sense. As the page are at current, they make more sense for newer users and are easier to understandas they are not messy.Geoff Johns please read my work!!!! 17:17, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Merge - No - Jor-El's clone went on to live a different life than the original Jor-El, whose life was well chronicled on the show... whereas Lara's replicant continued the life led by the Lara who died on Krypton. So the rule of thumb I'd propose is: if a clone or replicant's life diverges from the original's who lives on... and both lives are chronicled on the show... then the clone may qualify for a separate page. --Kanamekun 20:17, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Merge - No. They are clearly two separate people.....Since the blood sample was taken they took two divergent paths....leading to two separate persons...--Superman Fan 21:51, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Merge - Yes - We don't need two separate pages for Jor-El, even thought he is a replica of Jor-El from krypton's past Pre-Destruction . He's still Jor-El, we don't have a separate page for Lara (and she was a clone). This page isn't necessary . since he's a clone we just used a different color to describe him in the short summary section of Jor-El in season 9 . ----Kal-EL 23:03, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- The real character of Lara-El had not had significance before her clone arrived. All we had was that she was married to Jor-El and visited the Kent Farm before Krypton's doom when preggers. So can you understand why it is necessary to split 2 major pages then having 1 super major page that would be hard to make sense of. Geoff Johns please read my work!!!! 23:08, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- Be that as it may, I still say that having a page dedicated to a clone that's dead is unnecessary and alot more confusing .----Kal-EL 23:13, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
- I just don't understand how you find it confusing OMG, it is people like you that make this Wiki argumental because people don't watch the progame proporly.
- Merge - No Like they said, they are clearly two separate people and clone lived a different life than the original - BatteryB7 09:15, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
Since a clear majority supports keeping the pages separate, I will go ahead and remove the merge tag. --Kanamekun 09:20, November 8, 2009 (UTC)
Jor-EL[]
Hello, It's Junior Jedi 11. I think you should merge Jor-EL with his clone. There not two different characters, there the same character in two bodies. It's just my opiuonon. If you prefer not to merge it, that's fine. I think separating Jor-EL and Zod from their clones would be too confusing for the people on this website.
