Hey guys, this episode may have to do with Jor-El is talking to Clark about flight.

HAWKMAN[]

IS IT JUST ME OR IT APPEARS THAT CARTER HALL IS GOING TO DIE IN THIS EPISODE?

...what just happened?[]

Was I the only one confused by what the heck happened at the end of the episode? There was something comeing out of the sand, a flash of light, and everybody is unconcious. Omnious music plays. Hawkman's ressurection would have made sense without the music and unconciousness, but this is just confusing. And we have to wait a month and a half to figure out what happened? What kind of cliffhanger is that? It would be one thing if they revealed some big shocking twist, but this was just vague and confusing. What was this? 71.79.243.50 02:09, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

That's why it's called a "cliffhanger!" :p I don't think Hawkman's been resurrected, he said himself that his only regret was that he couldn't fight the Darkness. I assume he and Shayera will both be reincarnated and be born again (literally, as in a babies) at some point.

Based on the trailer, my guess is that the VRA forces somehow found out about the tomb and boobytrapped it.4.154.55.1 05:35, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

kryptonian artefact or native earth artefact?[]

This artefact was strong enough to knock out a kryptonian and a martian. As far as core kryptonian vulnerabilities go, only magic has this strong effect on Clark. A piramid suggests egyptian design, perhaps of Tanagarian origin, triggered by the presence of a member of their race. I am hoping its like in Shaman King, when they get a powerup each. I am hoping Clark gets to fly, and others get at least immunity to Darkseid's omega effect. Perhaps a temporary magica boon? Superman magically enhanced. That smells like win to me :D92.81.182.26 20:47, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

Icarus Falls[]

I have to say the scene of Hawkman falling to his death is one of the best I've seeen on smallville. How it mirrows the story of icarus is brilliant.
