I thought the last edit was vandalism, but the user seems to usually contribute valid edits. Sometimes names are misheard, but if the user can confirm that they indeed watched the episode recently and a different name was stated, please explain it here so the page can be moved. - I made a note to go back and re-watch the old episode. But I think their info actually comes from the newspaper article linked in the wiki? --Kanamekun 21:48, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- The actress's imdb page says her name is Mrs. Gibson and Stray's TV.com page says her name is Mrs. Gibson. I don't ever remember her being called another name, so I think we should leave the page titled Terra Gibson. Flash0816 00:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Kanamekun (and the anonymouse) is right, it's in this Ledger article as Debra Burch. The question now is if this *contradicts* what was said/seen on screen. If so, it's a production error. But if they never say her name on the episode, then we should change it to Debra Burch. Marikology 04:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Just read a transcript of the episode [1] and the name Burch isn't used anywhere. But I didn't see the name Gibson used either, other than as the last names of Ryan's step-parents (in the script itself, not as dialogue). There could be visual cues that I missed though; I only read the transcript and it's been a while since I saw the episode. If someone wants to confirm this by watching the episode, that'd be great! Otherwise after a week or so, we can move the article... --Kanamekun 13:54, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay I just watched the episode, and neither character is addressed by name. However, James Gibson's mugshot is shown, and it clearly says "James Gibson." (I'm pretty sure you have to use your legal name in a mugshot.) Sometimes the Ledger articles do have discrepancies. Now the question is, since it got one name wrong, should we take the "Debra Burch" name as accurate? I would lean towards yes, simply because there is nothing in the dialogue or in the episode that otherwise indicates her name. Her last name isn't guaranteed to be Gibson, just cos they're married. I don't even know where "Terra" came from. Thoughts? Marikology 03:31, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ah ok, yah the show definitely takes precedence over the Ledger when it comes to canon (assuming no logical discrepancies). I also lean towards taking Debra Burch as accurate. I think maybe "Terra" came from an IMDB source or something. We can cite what we know about her name in the article, and leave a redirect too since the Terra Gibson name is out there. --Kanamekun 14:20, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
