Observation[]

AC states that his father was a lighthouse keeper who couldn't swim, and that his abilities must have come from his mother; this may be a reference to the song "My Father Was the Keeper of the Eddystone Light."[1].

FYI, Arthur is not "faster than Clark"

They both have superspeed underwater, but asArthur left the base, Clark CAUGHT UP to him, and DIRECTLY blocked his path- So, if anything , Clark is faster- but for some reason, there's this misconception that Arthur leaves Clarkin the dust-er, in the water dust. 68.210.35.99 09:24, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ho do you figure? AC may not have been swimming as fast as can. So it should be clear that one example is not enough. At best, we simply don't know. --Superman Fan 13:41, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Occupation[]

should we add king of seven seas/Atlantis or future king of seven seas/Atlantis Ironman29758 02:18, November 21, 2010 (UTC)Ironman29758 09:18,November 20, 2010

Name[]

Now that Arthur is mature don't you think it's time we address him as Arthur instead of AC (I mean we can leave it as a nickname) but the bio page should address the King Of Atlantis with more seriousness . Prefect example Oliver Queen his nickname is Ollie but in his bio the text reads for each season address him by Oliver. I think the same should be done for Arthur--Kal-EL 17:52, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed --MIK-EL 18:16, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed! It's a good idea. Much like Oliver (we can hope), Arthur is destined take on a more prominent role (globally, that is)..... -- --Superman Fan 19:36, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

Mercy Reef[]

Lately, people having been adding and removing Mercy Reef from Arthur's page. Was Mercy Reef even part of Smallville? I know that the producers got the idea after Aqua, but it has never been included.

No, it's got nothing to do with Smallville. (Continuity wise that is) People just don't seem to get that =/ --SuperBlahBlah 18:32, December 1, 2010 (UTC)
WTF? of cours that "Mercy Reef" is part of "Smallville". MR is spin-off to Smallville. And story from 'Mercy Reef' is completely consistentwith 'smallville'. (Orin, Tom Curry, Atlantida etc.)
This topic was recently brought up on the DC Database wiki (in relation to a move of the articles relating to the pilot) and I thought that it should be brought up here for the sake of consistency (rather than one wiki insisting that they are connected, whereas the other claims that they aren't). Al Gough was asked outright if the Aquaman show takes place in the universe of Smallville, in an interview. Gough responded that there could be some crossover, as soon as the first season (had the Aquaman show gone to series). If the two could cross over, you'd kind of expect them to be in the same universe. Gough also doesn't say no to the question (ex. "no, but there could be some sort of crossover"). Now AC is played by a different actor, but recastings aren't uncommon. Looking at IMDB, Aqua had been Alan Ritchson's first and (at the time of the pilot) only acting credit (whereas Justin Hartley had acted for years and had many credits). So, that can be written off as the network being unwilling to go with an actor that unexperienced. The pilot contains AC breaking out some dolphins (as incident mentioned in Aqua, with it having taken place a year before). So, it could easily be argued that the pilot simply takes place the year before Aqua.KylieMfever (talk) 16:05, August 22, 2019 (UTC)
