"Very little is known about Alan's early life. After having gained possession of a Power ring, Alan assumed the identity of the Green Lantern and was a founding member of the Justice Society of America. During this time, Alan also became CEO of the Gotham Broadcasting company (GBC). Alan was later framed by a goverment agency and was arrested. However, he was never convicted of any crime and was later released, together with the rest of his teammates. Whatever happened to him afterwards and if he retained his position as CEO of the GBC remains unknown."
This is all we know about Alan Scott in Smallville's continuity. I only included facts, that were confirmed in the episode; CEO of a broadcasting company (however, I included it's comic book name, despite it not being named), JSA member, framed by a goverment agency (but not convicted). We can't be sure, if he gained possession of the power ring, the exact same way, as in the comics. I ended it all, with the fact that we don't know what happened to Alan after that. Yes, we know that he's still alive. However, we don't know if he was allowed to keep his job (Wesley Dodds and Sylvester Pemberton were both rich, but appeared to live in a rundown apartment and a car. Suggesting, they've lost all their money) or what he did in the years between the JSA disbanding and the present. coq87rouge february 6th, 2010.
Powers and Abilities
Were any of these displayed on the show? We probably should remove that whole section... --Kanamekun 08:42, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
The name was written on the card, in the display case, next to the lantern and power ring. -- coq87rouge February 27, 2010.
- Ah can you post a closeup of that image? I thought maybe it had said "the green lantern" - wasn't sure if it was describing the lantern or Alan Scott! But there was some text I couldn't make out and maybe that was his name and more info too... --Kanamekun 20:08, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
