Line up[]

Has there been any mention to who the line up will be--NatDuv 03:55, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm guessing the JSA will be Green Lantern, Flash, Wildcat, Mr.Terrific, Hawkman, Black Canary 1, and Starman (maybe Shazam!) Mike-El 5:23, August 22

Jay Garrick probably wont be there because of Bart Allen--NatDuv 05:23, 27 August 2009 (UTC) also Alan Scott can't appeared becuase of the Green Lantern movie--Ironman29758 01:56, 27 august 2009 Plus Shazam is too young to be retired he should be like 4--NatDuv 05:00, 28 August 2009 (UTC) Also its most likely will be c-list heroes like Wildcat, Mr.Terrific, and Starman

On the page, it says that the JSA members will be Hawkman, the Spectre, Dr.Fate, and the Atom. Where does this information come from? Can't find anything about Geoff Johns having said this anywhere.--coq87rouge 19:57, 2 september 2009 (UTC)

I am positive it will be Hourman, the Spectre, Dr.Fate and the Atom. Four original members.Plus they'll probably not wear spandex--NatDuv 03:59, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

We need a source before we can put speculation on the wiki... --Kanamekun 05:35, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

I saw Green Lantern and Sandman in the promo-- Nat-Duv, the second to last son of krypton 03:44, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

On comicbloc.com/forums, Geoff's stated that the line up of Hawkman, Spectre, Dr. fate and the Atom isn't correct. According to him, there will only be three members appearing. --coq87rouge 11:19, september 8, 2009 (UTC)Hourman, the Spectre, and Dr.Fate. They can't have hawkman, can't have flash and can't have green lnatern. Geoff Johns even said they cant have flash and green lnatern--NatDuv 04:08, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Airdate[]

The airdate is December 4, 2009. NewYorkCity101 13:32, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

  • Source? - BatteryB7 14:19, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
According to Geoff Johns on Twitter, the airdate is January 29, 2010.

Went over costume designs for the JSA Smallville. They kicked ass on these!! Sticking close to the source is always the way to go.... Oh, Smallville: Society airs January 29th. We shoot in two weeks so I'm packing up my winter clothes for Vancouver.... I can't divulge the three members in the episode yet, but one of them is someone that should be obvious. A girl. Who likes stars.

I will have the twitter post links tomorrow. (I'm on Twitter hiatus) He's referring to someone named "Stargirl". Marikology 01:33, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

MEMBERS APPEARING[]

From the spoiles we can already assume that one of the JSA members is Stargirl. Also if you match that another member appearing uses a helmet and his name has been used by a woman also, it is highly probable that it is Dr. Fate. So we have two of three

  • STARGIRL
  • DR. FATE

And now we only have to wait until the last member is revealed.

JSA[]

To ensure that it is not deleted. Is it okay to start a JSA article.--NatDuv 02:48, October 25, 2009 (UTC)

JSA Movie article?[]

I was just wondering since this is a movie and not a episode, how about creating a article for the JSA movie?

-Welling93100

  • It is still going to be 2 episodes just shown on one night. So it is sort of a movie but will just be 2 episodes coupled together back to back. Geoff Johns please read my work!!!! 18:44, November 17, 2009 (UTC)
  • Well it is 2 episodes together only the first episode won't have end credits and the 2nd episode won't have a opening credits as that will have been in the 1st. The 1st hour is directed by one director, the 2nd by another so it is 2 episodes or just Society is hour 1 and Legends is hour 2. Geoff Johns please read my work!!!! 15:36, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
  • No it's not going to be 2 episodes shown on just one night - It's a movie...we have confirmation too: Ausiello and the prodcuers have announced that it is a movie, we got a movie title "Smallville: Absolute Justice", I read somewhere that the CW had boosted their budget for these episodes to get into a movie...I don't see what the problem is making a article named "Smallville: Absolute Justice"...and so what if the the first hour is directed by Glen Winter and then the second hour is directed by Tom Welling, and that talk about the credits...it's still a movie, NOT 2 episodes...also I heard that it's going to be in movie-format too.

I will create the article in the next couple of days (maybe someone will do it before me).

Unless you can't come up with any other and logic reason why we shouldn't make a article for the movie, but as I said and I think a lot of people who uses smallville wiki, I don't see why we shouldn't...

-Welling93100

I also believe that it should be a movie article entitled, "Smallville: Absolute Justice" and then put Society and Legends on that page (and re-directs to that page) as sub-headings....If those titles are even kept. All the relevant info (director, etc.) can easily be placed under the appropriate heading....thats my two cents--Superman Fan 00:46, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

I have actually worked on the article, if it's okey i would like to post it and see what people thinks...I think people will like it + help me to get perhaps more info, or something like that?

-Welling93100

I'd like to see the page. If you do add it I would encourage you to not change anything on the existing pages (no re-directs, etc) and use the following link to create this page: Smallville: Absolute Justice. The admins will let you know if they approve or not....--Superman Fan 01:53, November 23, 2009 (UTC)
It's fine to have a page for the Absolute Justice page. :-)
Let's keep each episode page going for now though... after all, they have separate directors. Most movies have a single director... since these have separate directors, it makes sense to keep to keep the individual episode pages going. If the movie is truly a seamless creation, then we can merge the episode pages then! --Kanamekun 03:43, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

The trailer that was shown, last night (during Disciple) made it look like next week was a special event with just one name: Smallville: Absolute Justice. There was no mention of two episodes (as in Society or Justice). So it would appear that those pages may have to be merged into the Smallville: Absolute Justice page (reiterating my note above). Or at best fix the Season 9 page to reflect that. --Superman Fan 15:00, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Note about Titles[]

Someone posted:

"Previous episodes all have one word as the episode title. These two episodes were not given official names: they were released together as a two-hour movie called Absolute Justice. Each hour was labeled "Part 1" and "Part 2"."

I deleted it, sorry. The thing is, they were given official titles, Society and Legends. Kryptonsite.com reported those titles since 2009. For practical reason, they were given the extra-official titles of Absolute Justice Part I and II.

Absolute Justice was the title of the 2- hour event, for rerun purposes and the DVD Release, Kelly and Brian have confirmed the production titles are "Society" and "Legends"70.111.130.40 22:46, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
