The Swann Communications satellite is a large orbital space station constructed by Swann Communications. John Jones seemingly used it as his base of operations until losing his powers in 2008. It is unknown if Jones ever used it again, after regaining his powers (by which time, Jones had an apartment in Metropolis[1]).
Justice & Doom[]
John Jones communicated with Green Arrow's team from the satellite.
Appearances[]
- Justice & Doom
- Season Seven: Arctic (referenced only)
Notes[]
- The Swann Communications satellite was seemingly forgotten about after Justice & Doom. It is never mentioned on Smallville. In Salvation, Oliver Queen mentions that his own corporation has just put a satellite into orbit. In Finale, Part 1, a recently constructed Watchtower Orbiter space station is mentioned.
- It is unknown if Dr. Virgil Swann (the founder and CEO of Swann Communications) knowingly had the satellite constructed for John Jones, or if Jones simply appropriated an existing Swann Communications satellite. According to Chloe Sullivan, Swann Communications is the world's largest producer of satellites, and that Swann has so much hardwere in space that Scientific American dubbed Virgil Swann the "Man of Tomorrow".[2]
