When Lois Lane and Clark Kent arrived for a homecoming event, at Smallville High, in 2010 (a five year reunion for the class of 2005), a name tag with Steve Eathorne's name was unclaimed and lying on a table together with name tags of other alumni who had not arrived. It is unknown if Steve arrived later, or if he skipped the homecoming event.
Months later, Steve Eathorne attended Clark and Lois' wedding. Like the others, he fled right before Darkseid (possessing Oliver Queen) attacked Clark.[1]

- According to the guest list, Steve Eathorne was a guest of the bride.[1] In the episode Homecoming, there is a name tag for a former Smallville High student named Steve Eathorne,[2] making it possible that he is someone whom Lois knows from her time at the school. One of the other guests (of the bride) at the wedding is Eddie, a former Smallville High student, who first appeared in Homecoming.[2][1]

Superboy #116 (October, 1964) features a Smallville High student named Steve. Steve's last name is never established.
