Steve Adams was a Canadian actor who played General Hackman in the Smallville episode Finale, Part 2. It was his final role, before his death in 2012.

- Steve Adams also portrayed producer Robert "Bob" Maxwell in the film Hollywoodland (2006). The film deals with the life of death of Superman actor George Reeves. Robert Maxwell had been a producer on The Adventures of Superman radio show, and later became the producer for the early seasons of George Reeves Adventures of Superman television series.
