Simone Bailly is a Canadian actress who played Star on Smallville. During the early seasons, Bailly had appeared as an unnamed background character, a Smallville High student. The Season Four episode Ageless, retroactively, establishes this unnamed student as being named Jacquie Gould (with a photograph of Bailly being used for Jacquie's yearbook picture). This photograph was later reused in the Season Eight episode Legion, for former Smallville High student Tonya Hartz.

- Simone Bailly, like a high number of Smallville actors, has also appeared in the Stargate franchise. She played a recurring alien character named "Ka'lel" (a name similar to Kal-El).
