Sheriff Carson was Sheriff Adams' replacement as sheriff of Lowell County.
Season Five[]
Following the murder of Nancy Adams, Carson took over her position as sheriff of Lowell County. He led the investigation into the murder of Gretchen Winters, after her body was discovered in the Talon Apartment. While there, Carson met Lois Lane, who viewed the new sheriff as wet behind the ears.

- The character only appears in a deleted scene in Tomb. However, Lois mentions this encounter in the episode. The character's name is given in an article about Michael Westmore in the episode.
- Peter LaCroix portrays an unnamed Smallville sheriff in the Season Seven episode Fierce. However, as Sheriff Carson is onscreen acknowledged as a young guy in Tomb, the older sheriff in Fierce is likely his replacement.
