Together with his girlfriend, he went to one of Zatanna Zatara's magic shows in London, where he had too much to drink. When Zatanna made another patron seemingly levitate, he began to yell that it was a trick and that he had seen on the internet how it is done. Zatanna admitted that it was a trick, while he called her a charlatan. This prompted Zatanna to make her self-designated critic levitate for real, while his girlfriend tried to pull him back down to the ground.
