Dr. Sarah Charles first appeared in Tales of the Teen Titans #57 (September, 1985), and is a scientist with S.T.A.R. Labs. Sarah is a love interest of Victor Stone, and the aunt of LeTonya Charles. After LeTonya's body was destroyed, Sarah turned her into Cyborgirl to save her life.
