Like in the universe of Smallville, Russia is the home of the Rocket Red Brigade (originally created during the Soviet era). It is also the home of Russian superhero Red Star (Leonid Kovar), who has been a member of the Teen Titans. Red Star is the son of Konstantin Kovar, who has been an antagonist of the Teen Titans. Another notable Russian character is KGBeast, an enemy of Batman.
