Rex Mason is a member of the Outsiders.
Early life[]
Little is known about the early life of Rex Mason, including how he came to be chalky white. According to Oliver Queen, the Outsiders is composed of dropouts from Quantico, West Point and a few convicts.[1] It is unknown which refers to Rex Mason.

Together with other recruits, Rex was trained by Oliver Queen, for the DEO's team of "Outsiders".[1]

Rex Mason/Metamorpho, as he appears in the comics.
Metamorpho (Rex Mason) first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #57 (January 1965), and was created by Bob Haney and Ramona Fradon. Rex was an adventurer hired to acquire an Egyptian artifact. However, he was doublecrossed by his employer Simon Stagg (who disliked Rex for dating his daughter, Sapphire), and exposed to a radioactive meteorite, which mutated Rex's body. He became able to shapeshift into any element, but unable to assume a normal human form. As Metamorpho, Rex has been a member of the Outsiders and the Justice League.
