He was there when Chloe Sullivan showed up at the Forest Glen Sanitarium, demanding to see her mother (who was no longer a patient there), and physically assaulted a female Doctor.
The next day, Chloe returned with Clark Kent. He was annoyed with her presence, reminding a confused Chloe that she had been asked to never come back there. He then called security, which made Clark and Chloe leave,
