- Serge Houde had previously portrayed John Frankle, the Smallville High shop teacher, in the Season Two episode Dichotic.
- Serge Hounde had also portrayed an unnamed Smallville-based Priest in the Season One episode Crush. It is unknown if the two priests are the same man, who has relocated to Metropolis.
- The first and only character on the show to refer to Jimmy Olsen (the character appearing from Season Six to Season Eight) by his full name: Henry James Olsen.
