- Dr. Lia Teng - Dr. Teng left her native North Korea in 1992, when she married an American man (in a green card marriage, arranged by Lionel Luthor) and moved to the United States of America.[1]

There are some North Korean DC Comics characters. For example Mongol Monster, Red Crusher, Red Vulture, and Scarlet Vampire. All of whom are antagonists of Captain Marvel/Shazam (or of one of his spin-off characters).
