Nicholas Conroy plotted to keep her in a coma so he could control the money that her parents left her. When Sarah was close to waking up, a dream version of himself called The Traveler would prevent that. He tried to get rid Lana Lang who suspected him, but was stopped by Clark Kent. He was incarcerated after that.[1]
