Nanites are Kryptonian microorganisms that make up Brainiac and are present in Silver Kryptonite. It was apart of Project Scion. Nanobytes can cause corruption in the nanites.

The nranite take over Casey Brock causing possessions. The nanites react to Refined Green kryptonite. The nanobytes infect the Fortress of Solitude, giving Brainiac all of Jor-El's powers. - The Prometheus Suit had nanites in it giving the wearer super powers, its unknown if this is the same molecular organism nanites from Krypton, or if its super tech. In The Flash TV series, Rasalghul shot the Reverse Flash with nanites arrows to stunt his speed, but the Man in Yellow phased them out of his system.
