Myrtle Lane attended Clark and Lois' wedding, together with her plus one. Like the others, they fled right before Darkseid (possessing Oliver Queen) attacked Clark Kent.[1]

- Myrtle Lane's name appears on the guest list that Lois Lane holds up. The character is not identified in the church. However, it is possible that she is one out of two women seated on the first row on the bride's side (with the second woman being Myrtle's plus-one, which the guest list stated she would bring).[1]
- Myrtle's last name, combined her being a guest of the bride (Lois Lane) at the wedding, indicates that she is a member of the Lane family. Myrtle's exact relation to Lois Lane is never specified. Though, it is possible that she is a cousin of Lois Lane (and Lucy Lane).[1]
- It is unknown if she is the daughter or niece of James and Sandra Lane, and/or if she is the sister or cousin of Paul and John Lane.[1]
- It is possible that Myrtle is in a romantic relationship with the woman who is her plus-one. They are sitting next to each other, while all the other guests are seemingly seated either boy-girl-boy-girl or girl-boy-girl-boy. The guest list also specifies that Myrtle had to travel to the wedding (from where is not visible).[1] While people sometimes bring a friend as their plus-one to a wedding, this would mean (if the woman is merely a friend of Myrtle's) that the woman in question would have had to pay for a plane ticket, and a hotel room, just to go to the wedding of a friend's cousin.

Superman Family #209 (August, 1981) features a female cousin of Lois Lane named Louisa. It is unknown if Louisa is the sister of Lois' other cousin Louis Lane, who appeared in Superman #349 (July, 1980).
A letter column in Superman Family #188 (April, 1978) established that Margo Lane (a love interest and supporting character of The Shadow) was a distant cousin of Lois Lane.
