Mr. Simms was giving a tour of LuthorCorp Plaza to Mrs. Allen's advanced economics class from Smallville High School. Lionel Luthor briefly dropped by, and gave the students a brief speech, before handing them back to Mr. Simms.

- Mr Simms was portrayed by an uncredited actor. The same actor would later portray a Detective in the Season Seven episode Descent.
