Michael Birdego is a Deputy Sheriff in Smallville. He was the partner of Gary Watts.
Season One[]
Birdego was present at the gas explosion where a psychic link was created between his partner and Lana Lang. After Chloe Sullivan was kidnapped, he worked on the case along with Watts. He sarcastically dismissed Lana's claims of having psychic visions of Chloe's kidnapping.
Birdego later stopped in the Talon to ask Lana a few more question and regretted his earlier rudeness towards her. However, Watts knocked him out and kidnapped Lana. He was later found by Chloe, Clark Kent, and Whitney Fordman. When the three teenagers figured out that Gary was the kidnapper, Birdego told them where they could find him.
