Melissa Woods was a Smallville High School student, who was in the same graduating class as Clark Kent.
Season Ten[]
When Lois Lane and Clark arrived for a homecoming event, at Smallville High, in 2010 (a five year reunion for the class of 2005), a name tag with Melissa's name was unclaimed and lying on a table together with name tags of other alumni who had not arrived. It is unknown if Melissa arrived later, or if she skipped the homecoming event.

Melissa as she appears in the comics.
Superboy #68 (October, 1958) features a Smallville High student named Melissa (last name never established). Melissa meets and befriends Bizarro (not to be confused with the Bizarro that Clark Kent/Superman encounters as an adult). Being blind, Melissa is the only one in Smallville who does not become scared by Bizarro's appearance, but can sense his benevolent nature. Wanting to bring Melissa happiness, Bizarro deliberately flies into a piece of metal that Superboy has brought to destroy Bizarro (whom he views as dangerous). Bizarro explodes, which causes Melissa's eyes to heal, allowing her to see. Superboy speculates that Bizarro knew it would happen, and that Bizarro had sacrificed himself for Melissa.
