Max is the Human/Kryptonian hybrid son of Dax-Ur and Grace.
Season Seven[]
Together with his mother, Max paid a visit to his father's garage while Dax-Ur was talking to Clark Kent.
Notes[]
- It is unknown whether or not Max inherited Kryptonian abilities from his father, something Conner Kent did when his Kryptonian DNA started to take over. Although Max was conceived when his father was wearing a bracelet that contained Blue kryptonite, that causes all Kryptonians to lose their powers under its effect, it does so by anulling the manifestation of their powers, rather changing directly their DNA, so he most likely does. It is possible that Max will not manifest Kryptonian abilities until he is a teenager, and going through puberty, like what happened to Conner.[1][2]
- Despite being a half-Kryptonian child, living in Arizona, Max was never mentioned again after Persona.
- The future of Max might have been hinted at by dialogue. In Absolute Justice, Part 2, Doctor Fate (who could see the future) informs Clark that him becoming Superman (and people looking up at him in the sky) will lead to everyone embracing a Silver Age of heroism.[3] In Continuity, Superman tells the world that the world's (benevolent) super-powered population will always rise up to protect them.[4] It is possible that this (i.e. the people who becomes superheroes) includes Max (if he does develop Kryptonian abilities).
