Mark Verheiden was a student and Smallville Crows football player who graduated from Smallville High School.

In 2010, Mark returned to Smallville High School, for his five-year high school reunion. He was talking to some other former Crows players, when Lois Lane approached him. Lois had briefly been a student at the school, but Mark could not remember her.
