At some point in his life, the young man was exposed to Green Kryptonite, and gained metahuman abilities.
Season Seven[]
He was nervously sitting in the waiting room, at the Isis Foundation, when Chloe Sullivan came to the Foundation.

- The Isis Foundation (and the benevolent metahumans involved with it) was seemingly forgotten about after Season Eight. However, the future of the Male Isis Patient (and the others) might have been hinted at by dialogue. In Absolute Justice, Part 2, Doctor Fate (who could see the future) informs Clark that him becoming Superman (and people looking up at him in the sky) will lead to everyone embracing a Silver Age of heroism.[1] In Continuity, Superman tells the world that the world's (benevolent) metahumans will always rise up to protect them.[2] It is possible that this (i.e. the people who becomes superheroes) includes the Male Isis Patient.
