Madelyn Hibbins was a skilled witch from the 17th century and one of the comrades of Countess Margaret Isobel Thoreaux.
Early life[]
She was born sometime in the late 16th century, Isobel, Madeline, and Brianna were turned over to the magistrate when Isobel stole the document pertaining to the Stones of Power that the Duchess Gertrude (the ancestor of Genevieve and Jason Teague) had located in China. The three witches were captured by the townspeople and were sentenced to burn at the stake for practicing witchcraft. Madeline, along with Isobel and Brianna, lost her magic and spell book, which was taken by the townspeople. They were sentenced to be burned at the stake in the year 1604.
Season Four[]
Madelyn possessing Chloe Sullivan's body.
Centuries later, Lana was possessed by Isobel Thoreaux and Isobel made a potion to bring back her followers. Madeline's spirit possessed the body of Chloe Sullivan. When Clark Kent arrived at the Kawatche Caves to stop the witches from getting the stones, he destroyed the spell book with his heat vision and Madeline's spirit left Chloe's body.
