Lucas Stephen Grabeel is an American actor, singer, dancer, songwriter, director and producer. He played a teenage version of Lex Luthor in Season Six's "Reunion". He later played the teenage version of "Alexander Luthor"/Conner Kent in Season Ten's "Beacon" and "Scion".

- Despite wearing a hat for the majority of his scenes as Lex, Grabeel shaved his head for his role as Lex.
- When he returned for Season 10, Lucas dyed his hair both red for his role of "Alexander" and then black for his role as Conner.
- Though he is straight, Lucas is a strong supporter of gay right and has played gay characters in Milk and in High School Musical.
- Originally, Grabeel was to appear in Season Ten's "Finale, Part 1" for a cameo as Conner, walking Martha Kent (whom he had previously been mentioned to have met/visited offscreen) down the aisle at Clark’s wedding. Due to both budget concerns and Grabeel’s commitment to the show Switched at Birth, Jeff Hage took his place in the scene. absence was an exposited away by Lionel’s stating Tess had placed him into hiding.
- Lucas Grabeel was 26 during the filming of Scion, in which Clark discusses enrolling Conner at Smallville High. For the sake of comparison, this is the same age Tom Welling was during the filming of Season Three, which took place during Clark’s Junior year of high school.
