Lowtax was a creature created through the fusion of a South American man and a panther.
Early life[]
The man who would become Lowtax was once the greatest warrior of his village in South America. However, he proved his true nature when he planned to kill the chief of their village, resulting in the warrior to become punished into exile with his most loyal supporters. During the 1989 Meteor Shower, one meteor rock crashed down into South America (while the rest of the meteorites crashed down in Kansas). The radiation from the meteor rock mutated the warrior, merging him and a panther into a single being called Lowtax. He then ate the men who had been loyal to him.
Nature[]
When his former village got a new chief, Kimduk, the Lowtax began attacking the village. When Clark Kent went to South America, he came into conflict with the Lowtax. The lowtax got the upper hand in their battle, thanks to the meteor rock that had once mutated him. However, as the Lowtax was about to finish Clark off, Kumduk came up behind him and stabbed the Lowtax through the chest. This caused the Lowtax to split up into the human and the panther. The Panther then ran off, while the human was left to the villagers.

- The Lowtax was a rarity among meteor freaks, in that he was not connected to the Kansas town of Smallville. Other meteor freaks usually lived (ex. Greg Arkin) or had passed through Smallville (ex. Graham Garrett), and gained their powers there.
