In the 1980s, Los Angeles became to home of superhero team Infinity, Inc. (consisting mostly of the children of the Justice Society of America), which was led by Sylvester Pemberton (Star-Spangled Kid/Skyman). It later served as the base of operations for superhero and former Infinity, Inc. (later Justice Society of America) member Obsidian (Todd Rice) (the son of Alan Scott), who lives in L.A. with his life partner Damon Matthews. Damon is a lawyer and a supporting character of Kate Spencer, who is the vigilante "Manhunter".
