Lana's Final Love is, according to a vision of the future, seemingly the man destined to be the final love interest of Lana Lang.
Possible Future[]
When Lana Lang touched the hand of Jordan Cross in the spring of 2004, he saw a vision of her eventual death. Jordan saw Lana as an old woman dying peacefully in her bed, and holding hands with an unidentified old man.
Appearances[]
- Season Three: Hereafter (Vision)
Notes[]
- The character's name was never established. The vision seemingly frames the man as a love interest of Lana Lang, but it is unknown if the two are married in the vision.
- It is unknown if the man is Pierre Rousseau, who was married to Lana Lang in an alternate universe.
- Jordan has two visions of Lana's death in Hereafter. The first is the one of her dying peacefully as an old woman, with the unidentified man by her side. The second one involved Lana getting burned to death by Joseph Altman, within a few hours of Jordan having the vision. The change was a consequence of Clark Kent (thanks to another one of Jordan's visions) having prevented what would have been Altman's death by suicide. Leading to a second suicide by Altman, where he attempted to burn himself (along with Lana and Megan Calder) to death. It is unknown if Clark saving Lana (and Megan) from the fire restored Lana's original death (as seen in Jordan's first vision), and she meets the unidentified man from the vision at some point after the events of Valkyrie, or if Lana ended up with a different future/death entirely. The vision accurately foreshadowed Clark eventually returning Lana's necklace to her, which happened in the Season Eight episode Requiem.
