The Kandorian is a cloned member of the Kandorian army.

Powers & Abilities[]

Once he got his powers on Earth, he demonstrated many traditional Kryptonian powers:

  • Solar battery: This ability is the core that all Kryptonians' abilities manifest from.
  • Super speed: The Kandorian can run at speeds faster than the speed of sound. Like several other Kandorians, he used this power when they were gathering around Clark Kent and Zod.
  • Super hearing: He was able to hear Zod taunt Clark Kent, and confess to the murder of Faora.
  • Flight: The Kandorian could fly with full control of this ability.

Early life[]

A citizen of Kandor, the unnamed Kandorian was a soldier in Major Zod's army. At the request of the Krypton Council, he gave a sample of his blood to them to be put in the orb like the other soldiers so they would be resurrected through cloning if Krypton was destroyed.

Season Nine[]

Little is known about his life on Earth. Like the rest of the Kandorian army, the Kandorian was created on Earth in 2009, but found himself lacking the powers that a Kryptonian would normally have under a yellow sun. Months later, the Kandorian was granted his powers by Zod and joined his intended war against Earth. However, like the others, the Kandorian turned on Zod once they discovered that he had killed Faora (whose death Zod had blamed on humans, which is what had led the Kandorians to follow Zod's plans for a war against humanity). After the Book of Rao was activated, the Kandorian, along with his fellow Kandorians, were sent to their new home.

Season Eleven[]

He and the rest of the Kandorians arrived at their new home planet, which was also under a yellow sun maintaining their super powers. There, the Kandorian was among those who took Zod into custody, before Zod was banished to the Phantom Zone.

Notes[]

  • The Kandorian's name was never established.
  • Amos Stern had previously portrayed a different Kandorian clone in the Season Nine episode Crossfire. However, that Kandorian was beaten to death by Tess Mercer, a fact acknowledged in the episode Kandor. The Kandorian in Salvation also carries a different family crest on his dog tags, than the Kandorian in Crossfire (indicating that they are neither the same man, or even related).
