  • Jefferson Pierce was introduced in Continuity. However, in the Season Nine episode Warrior, there is a Black Lightning comic book, in the opening of the episode. The cover indicates that Jefferson possesses electrokinesis[1] This is similar to several members of the Justice Society of America appearing as action figures in the Season Seven episode Action,[3] before being revealed to have been real people,[4] making it possible that Jefferson's been active as Black Lightning since before 2010.
