Upon meeting archeologist Carter Hall, Lois Lane compared him to Indiana Jones.[1]
Season Eleven[]
Oliver Queen called Bart Allen "Short-round", a nod to a character from the second film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.[2]
Superman Connections[]
- There are many connections between the Indiana Jones franchise and the Superman franchise.
- John Williams composed music for both the Indiana Jones movies and for Superman: The Movie.
- Don Fellows, who played Col. Musgrove in Raiders of the Lost Ark, also portrayed a General in Superman II (1980) and Levon Hornsby in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
- William Hootkins, who played Major Eaton in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Sergei Diaghilev in Espionage Escapades, also portrayed Harry Howler in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
Smallville actors[]
- Carrie Fisher (Pauline Kahn) wrote the episode "Paris, October 1916" of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. The episode was later edited into half of a movie called Demons of Deception.
- Neil Flynn (Pete Dinsmore) portrayed FBI Agent Paul Smith in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008).
- Tony Todd (Earl Jenkins) voiced Locus in the video game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024).
