Heike is a fencing instructor employed by Lex Luthor.
Season One[]
Heike in 2001.
When Clark Kent made his first ever visit to the Luthor Mansion, he walked in on Lex and Heike fencing. Heike got the upper hand, and defeated Lex. This frustrated Lex, causing him to throw his sword, and almost hitting Clark. Lex quickly calmed down, and noted that Heike had kicked his butt enough for the day, ending the session.
Season Four[]
Heike continued to fence against Lex. When Lex was split into two, the sinister one was finally able to defeat Heike.

- A shot of Heike appears in the opening credits for all of Season One.
- Heike seemingly had a fling with Lex, with the two kissing in Unsafe.
- The character's background was never touched upon. However, her name indicates that she is likely a German immigrant, rather than born in the United States of America. This would make Heike the first foreign national to appear on the show.
- The character might be named after crew member Heike Brandstatter, who worked with casting on Smallville.
