The Gunman was an agent of Checkmate.
Season Nine[]
He was involved in a Checkmate operation to capture the Green Arrow. He and another agent pretended to attack fellow agent Tess Mercer one night. Tess pretended to take them both out, and fled. The Gunman later joined up with his fellow agents, after the Green Arrow was down. It is unknown if he survived Zod's attack and destruction of Checkmate.
