- The character's name was never established.
- The EMT was one of several characters portrayed by Chris Shields on Smallville. Interestingly, he returned in the very next episode (Reckoning), where he portrayed a Metropolis Courier. While the show had many actors portraying multiple characters, this seemingly marked the only occurance of an actor returning in the very next episode as a different/unrelated character.
